The classic red-light camera answers one question: did this vehicle cross on red? Useful, but narrow. The behaviours that make an intersection dangerous are broader than that, and most of them were historically invisible to automated enforcement.

IRES automatically identifies vehicles crossing the red-light signal, exceeding the speed limit, making an illegal lane change, performing an illegal U-turn, taking an illegal left or right trajectory, stopping on the pedestrian crossing, stopping in the yellow box, driving dangerously or recklessly, not wearing a seatbelt, and using a mobile phone while driving.
Why ANPR width matters
Detection is only useful if the vehicle can be identified. Smart ANPR scans and identifies every vehicle passing the radar across up to eight lanes, with high accuracy on plate numbers alongside vehicle classification, type, make, model and colour — enough to process a violation without a manual review queue.
Warning before enforcing
Solar-equipped strobe lighting warns approaching drivers of congestion, accidents, reduced visibility and road works, with fully customisable light patterns. The intent throughout is prevention first: the violation record exists for the drivers the warning did not reach.
